Daytime dancing

by GraceBlogger

Here in Seville, an event took place this weekend called 'Mr Saturday', held at the contemporary art museum. It was basically a gathering of people enjoying the sun and music while dancing on down. The party takes place once a month leading up to the summer, on a Saturday or Sunday (originally named 'Mr Sunday') during the day from 1 pm until 8 pm.

The intention is to celebrate the end of winter by daytime dancing away the chilliness! It attracts all kinds of people, from youthful characters to young-at-heart adults with a handful of kids running around, all wanting to spend the day in the sweet sun enjoying cheesy tracks from Britney Spears to Justin Bieber.

It felt like a festival and made me excited for this summer, passing endless days away in the warm weather with good vibes. The ambience was very chilled and allowed people to bustle about, as it was in the middle of the museum where there is a bar and a terrace. They used the terrace area to set up a DJ set and a mini tent with decor, totally allowing people to feel a passion for party.

Personally, I find it a great idea to hold such an event for everybody to join in and have a fab time, as some Saturdays in the winter drag on due to it being cold outside and there not being many activites to relish. However, what better way to warm up than getting your groove on in such sweet surroundings!?
